I am very delighted to announce that my new Penji album ‘Future Nostalgia’ will be released on all platforms on October 25th.
The seven tracks showcase my ability as a beatmaker and one of Ireland’s leading jazz guitarists. Created with the support of The Arts Council, for this album I explored themes of alienation and humanity’s growing dependence on technology during the pandemic.
I was delighted to reprise my sonic collaboration with the maestro mastering engineer that is Bob Macciochi of Subvert Central Mastering (Om Unit, DJ Shadow, Lorn). The result is a sensitively produced LP which brings together diverse styles, tempos and textures in a collage of infectious tracks.
I will also be releasing two music videos created together with my long-time collaborator AMW Visual.
