I am delighted to have been invited by Galway Music Residency to assemble a quartet to perform three concerts at Brampton Care Home, Oranmore. This is part of a wonderful initiative by funded by Creative Ireland‘s ‘Creativity in Older Age‘ Fund and The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon
It is an absolute privilege to be involved in this! Together with the wonderful Paul O’Driscoll, Sean Lennon and Bertrand Huvé, we are performing a mixture of jazz standards and classic folk songs such as ‘My Own Dear Galway Bay’ and ‘Galway Shawl’. It has been so lovely to perform for and meet the lovely people residing here. And indeed the highlight for us all was to feature two wonderful songs with one of the residents!
